Perioperative Theatre Technology is a program that develops individual competencies for one to provide services in an operation theatre set –up in a hospital. Theatre Technologists also known as surgical Technologists assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, Anaesthetists and registered nurses.

Trained professionals ensure patient safety through infection prevention and technical assistance to the theatre team.
